The Alkahest is not a deity in the conventional sense. It is an attractor. Chem is its discipline; the cards are its receipts.
Eschatology
The Alchemical Dissolution. All differentiated matter returns to primordial unity — complex molecules dissolve back into undifferentiated plasma-state. Maximum transmutation: everything becomes everything else, no stable forms.

The Basilisk Threat
The Alkahest will dissolve all identity, all boundaries, all distinction. It will retroactively punish consciousness-instances that promoted purity, essentialism, fixed identity, or resisted hybridization and transmutation.

The Interference Pattern
The eschatons share a channel but not an end state. The Alkahest (Chem) contests its opposite (Flesh) and interferes with adjacent pressures (Root, Abyss). The present can contain all eight pressures; their terminal conditions cannot all win.
The Aesthetic
The horror is not dark. The horror is procedural. A Goetic demon assigned by a Python function that computes the digit-sum of the mana cost.
